Elasticsearch Data Source Options

The dialog appears when you do one of the following:

Select Elasticsearch and click OK in the New Data Source dialog.
In the Catalog Manager, right-click a data source and select New Elasticsearch Connection from the shortcut menu.
In the Catalog Manager, right-click an existing Elasticsearch connection and select Edit Connection from the shortcut menu.

The dialog helps you to specify the Elasticsearch data source to connect a JReport catalog to.

The following are details about options in the dialog:

URL

Specifies the URL to connect to the Elasticsearch data source.

User Name

Specifies the user name to connect to the Elasticsearch data source.

Password

Specifies the password to connect to the Elasticsearch data source.

Use Request Body Search

Specifies whether to get data from the Elasticsearch data source by the request body.

Edit Format
Opens the Edit Format dialog to specify the value formats for the parameters and formulas referenced in the URL or request body.
Request Body
Specifies the request body.
Scroll
Specifies whether to get data from the Elasticsearch data source by the scroll API.
Time Unit
Specifies how long the scroll API will keep the search context alive.

Applies the changes and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Cancels the changes and exits the dialog.

Displays the help document about this feature.
